LapBand Information Day 73 – I’m locked in my House

Loading ...Can you believe it on a day like today. Here in Houston it is nice outside. I want to go and get in the fresh air. But, when leaving for church this morning I left my keys in my wifes car. Ugh and she is gone to the movies with the kids. I took a nap today. I must break out. But, that would look funny to those passing by. Me climbing out of a window. Today was a good day for food choices. I feel great about the choices that I have made in the last few days. No real dilemma except for the piece of cake I had. But, I had it its over and I will not have to worry about eating a piece until my brothers birthday on May 18th. I will worry about it then. Lets get some more weight off this week. I plan on adjusting my intake portions this week. I am starting changing the amount of food I eat at each sitting. Portion control for your brain. The reason I am doing this is because my next fill, in a few weeks, will start giving me restriction and I have none now. SO, got to do something about that now or when it does happen I will not be prepared and think I am starving….Notice I said THINK.

I hope people did not give you a hard time about the cake, cuz I think in the big picture you did great…..you could have had a hot dog, cake, chips, soda etc.. etc….you will still keep plugging ahead regardless of the cake you had…..I think every successful weight loss journey will include foods that we love from time to time!
I know you will keep going, and I would think of that small piece of cake as a reward for all the hard work you have been doing……it’s a new day!!!!! Janis

Liquids suck…..but plugging along. Went back and watched your archives from day 1, and your creamy chicken soup at hand saved me……….
